The Institute of Higher Education celebrates with the following students, who completed their degrees this spring:

Danielle Kerr (PhD) Kanler Cumbass (MEd) Andrea Kiely (MEd)

On April 30th, IHE professor Dr. Jim Hearn led a roundtable discussion to explore how private four-year colleges have maintained access and enrollments while facing financial and pandemic challenges.

Dr. Denisa Gándara (IHE PhD) has been selected for the William T. Grant Scholar class of 2026. The Scholars Program supports the development of early-career researchers whose work can inform future policy development for US higher education institutions.

Dr. George Spencer moderated a conversation with three IHE graduates and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leaders who discussed how individuals and institutions can move towards racial equity in all aspects of higher education.

Most workspaces are engaged in more conversations about equity across races, genders, and sexualities. Offices that support underserved populations in higher education institutions across the United States are no exception.
