Image: PhD candidate Amy Yandell accepted a position to lead the Bryan Graduate Career Center at the University of North Carolina Greensboro in the Bryan School of Business & Economics this spring. The newly-created Center supports graduate students through innovative and comprehensive programming and one-on-one coaching. She works with students to assess their professional values, skills, and interests, explore various career paths, connect with and expand their network, enhance their skills outside the classroom, and engage in the job search process. Amy’s research focuses on graduate students’ career development and decision-making through participation in immersive professional development opportunities; specifically, she is interested in diverse career paths outside of the academy. She recently completed a graduate assistantship with the UGA Graduate School. Type of News/Audience: General News
