Bradford Porter loves working with young people. His genuine enthusiasm and empathy created some amazing results at the two high schools he served as part of the Georgia College Advising Corps.

Dr. Erik Ness received a First-Year Odyssey Teaching Award for his class “Research Evidence, Alternative Facts, and Fake News.” In his class, he guided students to seek and evaluate research evidence.

IHE Research Roundtable brought together a group of research awardees and reviewers to share their experience and answer questions about getting dissertation research funding from NAE/Spencer Foundation, AERA, and NSF/AERA.

With the cost of and need for college degrees rising, a common solution across 23 states has been to allow community colleges to award bachelor’s degrees.

With the onset of the pandemic, higher education was forced to adapt to online and hybrid education, and international students were significantly affected by these changes.
