Juanita Hicks (Ed.D. 2018) is the new vice chancellor for human resources at the University System of Georgia. Juanita comes to USG from Georgia Tech where she was the deputy director of human resources & special projects.
Art Malloy has been named the new associate vice chancellor for student affairs at UNC Pembroke in February 2019. Art is a member of the Executive EdD Cohort 5 and plans to complete his degree in December 2019. Art had served as dean of student success at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) in Atlanta since January 2007.

The University of Georgia celebrated the lifetime achievements of Dr. Louise McBee by unveiling her portrait in a ceremony on Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. in the Administration Building. President Morehead and Interim Provost Libby Morris told a story of McBee’s love of education, her fight for women’s rights, and her lasting impact on UGA and the state.
