The Institute of Higher Education's graduate programs in higher education administration were ranked among the top 6 in the nation in the 2020 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Graduate Schools guidebook.

The Institute’s ranking reflects the high quality of our programs and the collective work of our dedicated faculty and staff, said Jim Hearn, interim director of IHE. The Institute prepares future leaders, examines critical issues, and contributes to improvements in policy and practice in postsecondary education. We are especially proud of our alumni. These accomplished, diverse professionals are making a real difference in a variety of settings and roles.

IHE's Ph.D., Ed.D., and M.Ed. programs have ranked in the top 10 for more than a decade.
