Mary Kate Steinbeck

Doctoral Student

Mary Kate Steinbeck is a current doctoral candidate at the McBee Institute and serves as the Graduate Assistant for Interprofessional Education at the UGA Pharmacy School. Mary Kate previously worked in Student Affairs in the Tate Student Center at UGA, advising student organizations and activities. She has also worked for the Office of Advancement at Georgetown University and the Freshman Dean's Office at Harvard University. 

Mary Kate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from University of Virginia and a Master of Education degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research is focused on the cultural history of higher education, looking at college traditions and their assessment for relevance/feasibility in modern contexts.
