Mary Kate Steinbeck

Doctoral Student

Mary Kate Steinbeck is a current doctoral student at the McBee Institute and she currently serves as the Graduate Assistant for Interprofessional Education at the UGA Pharmacy School. Prior to joining McBee full-time, Mary Kate worked in Student Affairs in the Tate Student Center at UGA, advising student organizations and activities. She has also worked for the Office of Advancement at Georgetown University in Special Events and the Freshman Dean's Office at Harvard University. 

Mary Kate received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from University of Virginia and a Master of Education degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research interests lie in institutional traditions, both their history and assessment for relevance/feasibility in modern contexts.
