PhD, 2013 Heidi Leming is the Vice Chancellor for Student Success at the Tennessee Board of Regents, a system that boasts 27 technical colleges, 13 community colleges and 6 universities. She oversees the newly created Office of Student Success, which is responsible for the system's completion agenda work, high impact practices, advising, and enrollment management. TBR was selected to participate in the National Association of System Head's (NASH) High Impact Practice in Equity Minded Pathways project (1 of 4 systems) and in the AACRAO/NASPA Comprehensive Student Record project (the first system to do this work), which she is currently spearheading for Tennessee. Earlier this year, she served as a consultant at the USG Momentum Year Summit in Atlanta. Previously she served as vice president of student affairs at the College of Coastal Georgia, a student affairs graduate intern in the Office of Student Affairs, Board of Regents, University System of Georgia. She worked for three years as director of student life and leadership at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee, and four years as director of Student Activities and Leadership Programs at Lynchburg College in Virginia. Leming earned her M.A.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and her B.S. in Mass Communications from Moorhead State University. During her time at the Institute of Higher Education, Heidi was the 2011 recipient of the Louise McBee Scholarship from the Georgia Association of Women in Higher Education. The purpose of the scholarship is to support educational enrichment for women exhibiting leadership potential in the field. Heidi also received a Division-J travel grant to attend the 2011 AERA National Conference in New Orleans.
