EdD, 2011 Robert Hoover is vice president for finance and administration & chief financial officer at Radford University. Hoover previously served as associate dean for administration and chief financial officer at the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce where he oversaw the school's business affairs, finances, human resources and operations. Prior to his move to Virginia, Hoover was at the Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta where he served sequentially as the director of admission and student services, associate dean of enrollment management and student affairs, and the associate dean of finance. Prior to joining Emory, Hoover served as the director of admission at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Samford University. Hoover is a member of the first cohort of the Executive Ed.D. in Higher Education Management who graduated in December 2011. Hoover has an Executive Doctorate in Higher Education and earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Samford University.
