Ness' position at UGA has given him the opportunity to instruct a variety of classes on education policy and develop other projects to pursue his research interests and impact state policy. He enjoys preparing students through coursework and graduate assistantship placements. "Because our program is an applied program, we are teaching students how to be leaders in higher education either as researchers or administrators, so we find that our students have a lot to offer to other academic units and other public service units on campus."
