Mónica Maldonado earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Berry College and graduated with a Master of Arts in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Prior to joining IHE, Mónica developed her college access and student affairs experience working with students through the Posse Foundation, LAYC Career Academy PCS, and the University of Maryland's Leadership and Community Service-Learning office.
