Image: Dr. Amy Stich, a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Higher Education (JHE), was honored with the Exemplary Reviewer Award by the JHE at the Association for the Study of Higher Education’s (ASHE) Annual Conference in November. Each year, five editorial board members are given this award based on the quality, timeliness, and constructiveness of their reviews of manuscripts submitted to the journal. The selection is made by associate editors who evaluate the reviews of over 80 editorial board members. “This recognition by the Journal of Higher Education is a testament to Dr. Stich’s commitment to academic rigor and to supporting fellow researchers. I deeply appreciate, and am not at all surprised, that Professor Stich provides the same high-quality reviews and feedback to manuscript authors that she does to so many McBee IHE graduate students” said McBee IHE Director Erik Ness. Amy Stich, an editorial board member for less than five years, is a first-time recipient of this award. The Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education congratulates Amy on this recognition by the JHE of her contributions to the peer-review process. Type of News/Audience: General News
