Title of University Professor Bestowed on Morris

In recognition of her years of leadership and service to the University of Georgia, Libby V, Morris was named University Professor. Morris has led the McBee Institute of Higher Education since 2006 and twice served as interim senior vice president for academic affairs and provost in 2010s.

The formal ceremony honoring recipients of university awards and special accolades with take place during Honors Week in April.
