The Association of American Colleges and Universities hosted a webinar on March 4, featuring Cynthia Alby and Hasitha Mahabaduge.

The webinar shared experiences and lessons learned through implementation of Georgia College’s GC Journeys, a faculty-driven HIPs initiative. GC Journeys asks students to complete five high-impact practices during their undergraduate experience and maps their core curriculum to AAC&U’s Essential Learning Outcomes.

Dr. Alby is the faculty director of the Georgia College Journeys program and has served as an instructor in the Governor's Teaching Fellows program for several years. Dr. Mahabaduge is a professor of Physics at GC.

The session was co-moderated by IHE fellow C. Edward Watson, the AAC&U chief information officer and associate vice president for quality, pedagogy, and states initiatives.
