IHE Fellow Christopher Cornwell Named to Chair

Cornwell named the Simon S. Selig Jr. chair for economic growth.

Christopher Cornwell, professor and head of the Economics Department at UGA's Terry College of Business, has been recently named the Simon S. Selig Jr. chair for economic growth. His scholarship falls into three areas: applied econometrics, labor economics and economics of education, and he has made significant contributions to each. Cornwell also holds an adjunct appointment in UGA's Department of Public Administration and Policy. He has been a fellow with the Institute of Higher Education since 2004.
