The University of Central Arkansas Board of Trustees this week named Houston D. Davis as the school’s 11th president. Davis has served as an IHE Fellow since 2012.

Assistant Professor Manuel González Canché was named the recipient of the 2016 Promising Scholar/Early Career Award from the Association for the Study of Higher Education. He was honored at an awards luncheon on Nov. 11 during the 2016 national ASHE conference in Columbus, Ohio.

IHE doctoral student Emmanuel Little receives grant for Call Me MISTER program from the Betty and David Fitzgerald Foundation.

Three IHE alumni were recognized in the September 2016 newsletter of the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), a scholarly society dedicated to higher education as a field of study.

The Institute of Higher Education is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor of higher education beginning August 2017.
