Master's Student Olivia Sawyer earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Social Entrepreneurship in 2023. She joins the McBee Institute of Higher Education as an M.Ed. candidate, pursuing her degree in Higher Education Administration. During her time as an undergraduate, Olivia served as the Lead Intern for the College of Family and Consumer Sciences and as a State Relations Intern for UGA’s Office of Government Relations. In these roles, she learned how to effectively advocate for both college students and their respective institutions. Olivia is enthusiastic about expanding her knowledge of higher education and learning more about the inequities surrounding higher education access at the individual and institutional levels.
