Nyasha Hamilton

Doctoral Student

Nyasha Hamilton is a full time Ph.D. student at the Institute of Higher Education and serves as a graduate assistant at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Georgia State University, and her Master of Statistics at Louisiana State University. 

Nyasha previously worked as a Data Analyst across various industries including: Education, Marketing, and Finance. This is where she saw firsthand the ever-increasing use of predictive algorithms and their ability to impact the trajectory of a person’s life.

Her research interests are concerned with the efficacy and ethics of using predictive analytics in Higher Education.
