Doctoral Student Kimberly Butler is an Atlanta, GA native with over ten years of experience in Higher Education. Currently working in Graduates Studies at Agnes Scott College, Butler thoroughly advises and prepares students for various medical and professional allied health programs. Before switching to advising, she worked primarily with non-traditional students for ten years in the capacity of applications evaluation for college and graduate program admissions. Butler actively prepares students to apply to and receive acceptances from a vast number of post-traditional undergraduate, graduate, and more recently medical school programs across the United States. In her previous leadership role in admissions, Butler was responsible for overseeing the admissions cycle for various medical programs, spearheading DEI initiatives, and increasing student enrollment. Butler earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and English from Huntingdon College. She also earned her Masters in Education in Higher Education Leadership from Mercer University's Leadership program.
