Brian Garsh

Doctoral Student

Brian Garsh is a part-time doctoral student at the McBee Institute of Higher Education and currently serves as the director of student engagement and belonging at Kennesaw State University. Garsh has a diversified portfolio of professional experience in student affairs and maintains involvement in several professional associations, including NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.

His research interests include co-curricular involvement of STEM majors, impact of student governance on institutional policymaking, and student involvement in decision-making processes within statewide systems of higher education.

Garsh earned his Master of Education degree in college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia and his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry secondary education from The College of New Jersey.
