Kelly Rosinger

Kelly Rosinger’s research examines barriers students face during the college-going process and the impact of policies and interventions designed to help students navigate this process.

Kelly is an assistant professor in the Department of Education Policy Studies at Penn State University and an affiliate with Nudge4 at the University of Virginia. Her work has been funded by the Jack Kent Cooke and Kresge foundations, and she was previously an Institute of Education Sciences’ postdoctoral fellow at UVA. Kelly’s publications include articles in Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, The Journal of Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, and The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Sciences. Her work has been cited by The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, and others.

Kelly earned a PhD in higher education and master’s degree in public administration and policy, both from the University of Georgia, and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from UNC-Chapel Hill. She was an assistant director of undergraduate admissions at UGA prior to beginning her doctoral work.
