Graziella Covello earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary. She then went on to pursue her master's degree in higher education from The University of Pennsylvania. Prior to IHE her professional experience was in Washington, D.C. at American University. There she served as an academic advisor and taught graduate coursework to master's students.

Her research interests are focused on access and choice to higher education for folks who are currently and/or formerly incarcerated. She has served as a research assistant working with Dr. Wolniak.
