I advise because I believe that all students should have access to a better future that is full of opportunities and experiences. I want to help students as they explore postsecondary plans to get to the college and the career of their dreams. Because of all the struggles I had as a first-generation college student, I want to be a resource to my students and help them navigate the college application process. As an adviser, I want to encourage my students to take control of their future and be successful as they exit one chapter of their lives and begin another.
