Billings and Whatley Selected as NCES Data Institute Fellows

IHE postdoctoral associate Meredith Billings and doctoral student Melissa Whatley were selected as fellows for the 2019 NCES Data Institute: Using Federal Datasets to Support Research on Postsecondary Education. The institute provides an intensive introduction to NCES datasets and research methodologies using large-scale national data sources.

Meredith BillingsThrough a highly-competitive process AIR selected 36 new fellows comprised of graduate students, IR professionals, faculty, and government and organization staff from across the United States to participate in a 6-week online course, culminating in a collaborative capstone project. The Institute concludes with a 3-day intensive meeting in D.C. this summer.
