EdD, 2023 Alejandra C. Sosa Pieroni is a higher education professional with over twenty years of experience advancing institutional growth, strengthening student success and guiding organizational transformation. She most recently served as the executive vice president for enrollment, marketing, and student success at Georgia Southern University, where she led a comprehensive enterprise of 350 professionals serving students across five campuses. Under her leadership, the university achieved a 16 percent increase in total enrollment, record incoming classes, record retention outcomes, record fundraising and significant gains in degree production. Previously, Pieroni served as vice president and enrollment management consultation at Ruffalo Noel Levitz (RNL), one of the largest providers of higher education solutions in the country, serving over 2,000 colleges and universities. There, she partnered with presidents and senior leaders at more than 100 institutions nationwide to strengthen enrollement, improve student outcomes and align strategy with mission. Before RNL, Alejandra served as the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid at Stetson University, Vice President of Enrollment Management at Walsh University, Director of Admissions at Mercer University, Associate Director of Admissions at Florida Southern College, and Director of Online Degree Completion at Tiffin University. She is the product of a community college education earning her Associate Degree from Sinclair Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Tiffin University. She is originally from Venezuela and resides in Orlando, Florida.
