Lady Cox

Lady Cox serves as the associate vice president for student affairs in the Office of Student Affairs at Auburn University. In this role, she leads the following units: First Year Experience, Greek Life, Health Promotion and Wellness Services, Student Conduct, Student Counseling and Psychological Services, and Student Involvement. Lady is a longtime advocate for parents. She created the Parent and Family Program offices at both Mississippi State University and Auburn.

Cox has been at Auburn since 2010 serving in roles including coordinator of Parent Programs, chief of staff, and interim assistant vice president.

Prior to joining the staff at Auburn, Cox was the director of Parent and Student Services in the Dean of Students Office at Mississippi State University. She also worked in the Department of Housing and Residence Life at MSU.

A native of Mississippi, Cox earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Mississippi State. She has a master’s degree in higher education with an emphasis in student affairs from Auburn University. She earned her doctorate in higher education management from the University of Georgia.
