Image: We’re kicking off our month of Graduate Assistantship spotlights with Renni Turpin, who currently serves as a graduate assistant in the UGA Fanning Institute for Leadership Development with Embark Georgia. Embark Georgia supports students who have experienced foster care and/or homelessness to improve their access, retention, and success in postsecondary education. Working with Embark Georgia has given Renni the opportunity to apply her academic knowledge and research expertise to assist this impactful program. Many thanks to MIHE graduate and Embark Georgia co-director, Lori Tiller, and the Fanning Institute for supporting Renni! UGA Office of Institutional Diversity In her assistantship with the UGA Office of Institutional Diversity, PhD student Ursula Reynolds, directly supports strategic initiatives focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Many thanks to OID for their support of our students and for all that they do to ensure inclusive excellence at UGA! Type of News/Audience: Alumni General News Outreach
