Image: by Jewel Caruso Blake Bedsole (EdD 2013) will assume his new position of associate vice chancellor for enrollment management at Troy University effective January 1, 2024. “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Troy University’s associate vice chancellor for enrollment management,” Bedsole said. “TROY provides a wonderful college experience and unlimited opportunities for its students. I look forward to working with the tremendous faculty and staff and becoming a part of the Trojan family.” Bedsole’s higher education career began in 2006 as the coordinator of orientation and special events at the University of Alabama for their office of enrollment services and programs. He later spent several years as the director of admissions and student services in the Culverhouse College of Business. Bedsole had a hand in greater than 50 percent increases to new applications to the school and to growth in the MBA program. Under his leadership, Culverhouse sustained record highs for applications, admitted students, and enrolled students. “[Blake brings] tremendous experience and proven track records of success to Troy University,” Senior Vice Chancellor Sohail Agboatwala said. “I believe the leadership [he] provide[s] will be a tremendous asset as we seek to more closely align our communications, marketing, and enrollment management efforts to more effectively tell the TROY story and engage with prospective students.” Bedsole currently serves as the director of admissions at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
