Ford Leads Discussion of Student Affairs

Alumna, Tracey Ford (Ed.D., 2002), returned to IHE on Thursday, April 18, 2019 to conduct a brownbag discussion with current students and faculty. Dr. Ford, the Vice President of Student Affairs at Tennessee State University, discussed anecdotes and lessons from her distinguished career in student affairs. 

Previously, she was the assistant vice president for academic and student affairs at The University of North Carolina System. While at UGA, she served as the first director of the Office of Institutional Diversity and as assistant dean for intercultural affairs.

Dr. Ford was invited to Athens by the UGA Chapter of the NAACP, and she delivered the keynote address at the organization's annual Image Awards ceremony.
