PhD Assistantships Available

8-10 assistantships anticipated for fall 2019.

The Institute of Higher Education (IHE) at the University of Georgia anticipates the availability of 8-10 graduate assistantships for new full-time Ph.D. students beginning in fall 2019. These 16-20-hour-per week assistantships offer competitive stipends, full tuition benefits (including summer research assistantships with IHE faculty and within the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, (2) research/administrative assistantships within various UGA offices, such as President's Office, Institutional Diversity, Government Relations, First Generation Scholars, Honors Program, Institutional Research, Vinson Institute of Government, Service Learning, and Small Business Development Center. IHE offers assistantships for all full-time Ph.D. students and assigns placements based on students' interests and experience.

Ph.D. application deadline: December 15. No additional application necessary for assistantship consideration.
