Tori Tanner

Doctoral Student

Tori Tanner is a doctoral student at the Institute for Higher Education. She serves as the customer success manager for enrollment at CampusLogic.

She previously was the assistant director for new student orientation in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Georgia. Her research interests include a student’s decision to attend college when considering their social capital, academic intervention efforts, retention of students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, and persistence of students in crisis. 

 

Tori earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies and Spanish from Mercer University in 2016 and a Master of Education in college student affairs administration (CSAA) from the Mary Frances Early College of Education at the University of Georgia in 2018. During her time in the CSAA program, Tori served as the graduate assistant for new student orientation at the University of Georgia.
