Maggie Parker

Maggie is the director of accreditation and institutional effectiveness at UGA. As director, Maggie serves as the main point of contact for campus on matters related to institutional accreditation by SACSCOC and has primary responsibility for ensuring and documenting UGA’s compliance with SACSCOC accreditation requirements. In addition, she plays a key role in the University’s institutional effectiveness processes, including supporting the University’s strategic planning process, tracking progress on institution-level goals, and facilitating the development and use of data systems and analytic tools that support decision-making.

Maggie has worked at UGA since 2008, most recently serving as the associate director for accreditation. Maggie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, master's degree in public administration and policy, and doctorate in higher education from UGA.
