He has over a decade of impactful service in higher education, K–12 student affairs, and faith-based leadership. Mr. Kennard M. Weever stands at the intersection of academic excellence, cultural engagement, and spiritual discernment.He currently serves as the Executive Director of Atlanta Technical College Preparatory Academy, part of the Technical College System of Georgia. In this role, Mr. Weever provides visionary and strategic leadership, champions education and promotes equity, and empowers non-traditional learners to build tangible bridges between academic preparation and meaningful career opportunities to enhance options for career and life success.Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Weever served for eight years in Gwinnett County Public Schools, Georgia’s largest school district. As a postsecondary specialist and former school counselor, he helped students and families navigate college and career pathways with clarity and purpose. His earlier experience spans public school systems in New Jersey, North Carolina, and Georgia, where he built a reputation for his holistic, equity-driven approach to youth development.In addition to his work in education, Mr. Weever serves as Senior Pastor of One Life Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where his dynamic and compassionate leadership has shaped the church into a vibrant hub of spiritual growth, community outreach, and intergenerational engagement. Under his direction, One Life Church has launched innovative initiatives focused on youth mentorship, personal development, family empowerment, and civic involvement.
