EdD, 2021 Kelley Lips serves Emory University’s Oxford College as the assistant vice provost and dean of enrollment services. An alumna of Oxford and Emory Colleges, Kelley earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and educational studies. She then completed a Master of Science in mental health counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. In 2019, she graduated from the prestigious Emory University Excellence Through Leadership program. Joining the Office of Enrollment Services directly after her undergraduate career, Kelley has served Oxford in a myriad of roles. From managing prospective student visit programs, overseeing the operations staff, and directing the admission selection process, Kelley understands the value of a cohesive team working to enroll the best and brightest students. In her current role, Kelley is responsible for admission, financial aid, and the registrar. Leading an office of 21, she represents Oxford College with Atlanta campus colleagues for broad recruitment strategies and managing the data related to enrollment planning and financial aid. Under Kelley’s leadership, the Oxford/Emory brand has been elevated and significantly increased the visibility of Oxford College, resulting in dramatic increases in student applications in recent years. Throughout her tenure in the office, the college has witnessed tremendous growth in academic profile and preparedness of the incoming class. Stemming from her own experience with the college search process, Kelley’s passion for enrollment and college education motivates her to help others navigate the transition from high school to college.
