Glen D. Spencer

Glen D. Spencer, Jr. serves as the Vice President of Partnerships at Honor Education. 

Prior to this role, Spencer led Apple, Inc.’s higher education business across the Southeast United States. As the regional higher education manager, he established executive-level relationships with presidents, provosts, deans and CIOs to strategize ways Apple technology can enhance their institutional, operational and student experience. He also managed several account executives based across the Southeast. Spencer’s team had been able to assist college campuses in balancing the ability to retain their culture and traditions while adopting technology for their campuses. He has was a driving force for his team to receive accolades within the division. His team has been awarded Region of the Year, Account Executive of the Year, and Manager of the Year.

Prior to working for Apple, Spencer worked as a recruiter for American Intercontinental University, where he made presentations to high school students around the greater Atlanta area. After his tenure at AIU, he spent the next ten years ascending through Pearson Education as a Georgia account executive, regional technology specialist, and then Southeastern district manager. In each one of these roles, Spencer was able to learn and maneuver through the complexities of colleges and universities. During his time at Pearson, he assisted colleges with reviewing and adopting digital content for classroom instruction. 

Spencer earned his bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in marketing from Morehouse College as a student athlete. He also earned an MBA from American InterContinental University.
