Master's Student

Carlos Marcelo Gomez was born in Los Angeles, California, but he has called Georgia his home for almost two decades. He earned his bachelor's degree in English from Kennesaw State University in 2017. In his current role under the Office of the Registrar at KSU, he assists academic advisors and program coordinators across multiple colleges to support student success and degree completion while ensuring adherence to Board of Regents, FERPA, and Clery Act regulations. He serves on the committee which reviews and assesses curriculum proposals for university-wide implementation, and he also regularly collaborates with KSU's Education Abroad program.

He happily joins the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education as a M.Ed. candidate, pursuing his degree in Higher Education Administration. He is committed to sharpening his skills and deepening his understanding of higher education to better serve his community.
