Caleb J. Keith

Caleb J. Keith is the director of research strategy & initiatives at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). 

Prior to September 2023, Keith had served as IUPUI's director of institutional effectiveness and survey research where he addressed the informational needs of both internal and external constituencies.

His professional research areas include: faculty issues, student success initiatives, academic and student affairs partnerships, technology in higher education, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and learner-centered pedagogical practices. 

Keith earned a Bachelor of music in commercial music and music business and a Bachelor of Arts in communication from Millikin University. He also received a Master of Education in college student affairs administration from the University of Georgia. Prior to starting his doctoral work at IHE, Keith served at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), as well as the Qatar Foundation and Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha, Qatar. His research interests include faculty issues, Honors programs, partnerships between academic and student affairs, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
