Power of Potential

This report articulates the impact of postsecondary attainment on the workforce by reviewing and summarizing existing empirical evidence and underlying data relating postsecondary degrees and credentials to career and economic outcomes in the U.S., and specifically in Georgia. In doing so, we offer a framework to guide future policy conversations and decision-making on this critical issue.

The co-principal investigators on this grant are Jeffrey M. Humphries, director of the Selig Center for Economic Growth; Charles B. Knapp, president emeritus; and Greg Wolniak, associate professor of higher education.
