Rob Clark is a part-time doctoral student and serves as the director of project management and construction for the Facilities Management Division at the University of Georgia. He works closely with the various colleges across campus to prioritize and execute a diverse portfolio of maintenance, repair, and construction projects that ensure campus facilities and infrastructure are ready to support the mission of UGA.
Clark is a retired U.S. Navy officer who spent a combined total of 20 years as a submarine officer and civil engineer corps officer, among other duties including overseas assignments and deployments. He earned both a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina. In addition, he is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) licensed by the state of Georgia and a certified educational facility professional.
