PhD, 2023 Sarah Burman is the assistant director of disability services at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Following her graduation, Burman served as the Outreach Coordinator for Student Disability Services at Kennesaw State University. While at the McBee Institute, Burman worked with Dr. Greg Wolniak as a research assistant. Burman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Georgia College and a Master of Education in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Cognition and Development from the University of Georgia. During her master’s program, she assisted in the research of the success of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers in Athens-Clarke County. Her professional and research interests include higher education policy, college accessibility, tuition transparency, and retention.
