Haixia Xu

Haixia Xu is an associate research lellow in the Institute of Digital Education at the Chinese National Academy of Educational Services. She previously served as the deputy director of the Comparative Education Division of the Chinese Ministry of Education, one of the six research divisions of the National Research Center for Education. She also served as the deputy director-general for international affairs, which involved much international travel to meetings, workshops, and other networking opportunities representing senior leaders on various educational projects.

Haixia holds her Ph.D. from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia, and she has come back to the McBee Institute several times since she graduated to conduct research as a visiting scholar.
