PhD, 2009 Haixia Xu is the deputy director of the Comparative Education Division of the Chinese Ministry of Education. This division is one of the six research divisions of the National Research Center for Education Development at the Ministry of Education. She is also deputy director-general for international affairs, which involves much international travel to meetings, workshops, and other networking opportunities representing senior leaders on various educational projects.
