PhD, 2018 Samantha Rogers is a decision support analyst in the Office of Undergraduate Education at Emory University. She previously served as a Senior Institutional Research Analyst at Ellucian and Georgia Highlands College. During her time as a student at the University of Georgia, she found herself drawn to higher education through her research and her job at the Office of International Education. With a focus on quantitative statistics, her current research interests include student outcomes, retention, enrollment management, and access. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology in her first three years at the University of Georgia. In one more year, she earned a Master of Education in educational psychology. She earned her doctorate in higher education from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education. She received the 2019 Edward Delaney Scholarship from the Association for Institutional Research. This award facilitates the professional growth and development of early career institutional research professionals and includes a travel grant to attend the AIR Forum in Denver, Colorado.
