PhD, 2017 Scott Rizzo joined the Texas Association of School Boards' Community Colleges Services (TASB) as a policy specialist in 2019. Based on analyses of relevant laws and regulations, Scott consults with administrations at individual community colleges and college systems to develop and maintain effective and compliant internal policies. Prior to joining TASB, Scott worked at several institutions of higher education in advising, testing & evaluation, and document creation, editing, and proofreading. Most recently, Scott worked for the school performance review team of the Legislative Budget Board, where he wrote and edited comprehensive reviews of struggling Texas school districts. Scott earned a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Georgia, an M.Ed. in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University, and a B.A. in history from the University of Florida.
