Chris Ferland

Chris Ferland is the assistant vice president of the Office of Institutional Research at Georgia College and State University. With extensive experience in higher education, Ferland most recently worked as a senior research associate for the University System of Georgia. He has also held the position of associate director of enrollment management and research assistant at the University of Georgia.

Ferland has also worked as a financial and marketing specialist for the University of Georgia, an agricultural business consultant and teaching assistant at Clemson University and an adjunct professor at North Georgia College & State University.

Ferland received his Ph.D. in higher education at the University of Georgia; a Master of Science in applied economics and a Master of Science in applied sociology from Clemson University; and his Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Rhode Island.
