PhD, 2012 David Dial owns and operates SpicedBlog, a food blog where Dial creates recipes and shares them online. After earning his PhD from the Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education and working for a number of years in higher education and college athletics, he decided to follow his passion and venture into the world of recipe development and food blogging. In addition to blogging at Spiced, David often works with national brands on recipe development and recipe testing. He’s worked with Pillsbury, Brownie Brittle, King’s Hawaiian, Hebrew National, and many more. He was also the national winner of the 2013 Sara Lee Desserts Recipe Contest. He earned bachelor's degrees from Duke University in both Public Policy Studies and Classical Studies. He also earned an M.A. in Higher Education Student Affairs from Louisiana State University. Before joining the Institute, David worked in the Office of Student Integrity at Georgia Tech.
