Doctoral Student Jim Iannuzzi is the CEO of Medinvest International, an educational finance consulting firm committed to supporting students in achieving their financial, academic and professional objectives in their enrollment at Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and other professional health-related fields.Prior to establishing Medinvest International, Jim held senior leadership roles with several higher education lending organizations. A native of Philadelphia, he served as University Director of Student Financial Affairs and Enrollment Management at the former MCP Hahnemann University, which subsequently merged with Drexel University. Throughout his academic medicine career, Jim has contributed to numerous national committees, including serving as Chair of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Graduate and Professional Issues Committee, and as a member of its Federal Issues Committee. He also served as Chair of the Committee of Student Affairs Financial Aid Reauthorization Task Force at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), in addition to participating in other AAMC committees. Jim’s research interests include the physician shortage workforce pipeline, healthcare disparities across socioeconomic groups, and the application of holistic policies in medical school admissions and enrollment. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University (PA) and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Eastern University (PA). Jim recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Human Development from The George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development (DC). Jim resides in Washington, DC.
