Sierra Kraynak

Director, Georgia College Advising Corps

Sierra Kraynak is the Director of the Georgia College Advising Corps (GCAC) at the University of Georgia, where she leads statewide efforts to expand college access for underrepresented student populations.

Before joining the McBee Institute, Kraynak managed strategic initiatives for first-year scholar cohorts, with a focus on retention policy and high school recruitment across metro Atlanta. A first-generation college graduate and former English teacher, she integrates research and the power of storytelling into her student-centered approach to program administration.

Kraynak is dedicated to transforming educational barriers into breakthrough opportunities for all students across the South. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies and holds an M.F.A. in Narrative Media Writing from the University of Georgia and a B.A. in Communications from the University of Tennessee.
