Michelle Oglesby

Doctoral Student

Michelle Oglesby currently serves as a dean of academic affairs at North Georgia Technical College.

As an academic dean, Oglesby coordinates and supervises curriculum development for twelve technical programs in the agriculture, industrial, and transportation disciplines of the college. She evaluates policies, procedures, and processes to implement necessary changes that ensure quality instruction for work force development. Additionally, she promotes all instructional programs to both public and private organizations to aide in Georgia's work force development.

Prior to her current role, Oglesby served as an instructor in both the k12 and post-secondary sectors for over ten years where she tracked student performance and growth data through a variety of platforms and piloted grade level curriculum for system wide literacy initiatives. Additionally, she worked as a grant program supervisor where she coordinated with faculty and students to provide a high intensity GED prep program for adult learners.

Oglesby is a graduate of Columbus State University with a Master of Education in Secondary English Education and a Bachelor of Science in English Language Arts Education from Auburn University.
