Image: by Jewel Caruso Alejandra “Ale” Sosa Pieroni, current student in the Executive EdD program, has been named the new executive vice president for enrollment management, marketing, and student success at Georgia Southern University. In a recent press release, Georgia Southern President Kyle Marrero said, “Ale is a thought leader and higher education professional with 17 years of experience in enrollment management, specializing in marketing and recruitment, financial aid practices and strategic enrollment planning. We are lucky to have her here to help us meet our high expectations and better service this growing region.” In this position, Sosa Pieroni will supervise the vice president for enrollment management and the vice president for university communications and marketing. Her first day will be April 1. Pieroni has been serving as vice president for Ruffalo Noel Lenitz, a technology-enabled solutions services for enrollment, student success, and fundraising in the higher education and nonprofit communities. “I am honored to have the opportunity to join the Georgia Southern Community, “ said Sosa Pieroni. “In my work with the University, I was impressed by the tireless commitment to its students’ growth and life success and to service its region through meaningful partnerships and faculty research.
