Image: The Louise McBee Institute of Higher Education is excited to continue our tradition of active participation at the Association for the Study of Higher Education’s (ASHE) 50th Annual Conference, happening November 12 – 15, 2025. The McBee Institute community at ASHE will include 7 faculty, 8 current students, 1 postdoc, 15 alumni, and 3 former postdocs. In total, the McBee community will be contributing to 50 sessions across the conference, embodying the Institute’s commitment to advancing scholarship and leadership in higher education. Our presence at ASHE includes: • 24 paper presentations • 3 interactive symposia • 1 research workshop, "Engaging in Culturally Responsive International Research", facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Meseret F. Hailu and Dr. Kayla M. Johnson, University of Kentucky. Beyond presentations, McBee members are shaping the conference through leadership roles, with 11 session chairs, 6 session discussants, and 2 session organizers. The McBee Institute is also proud to sponsor the ASHE Joint Pre-Conference Reception, which will be held on Wednesday, November 12, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
