Mr. Narke Norton (MEd 2019) positively touches lives that will shape the future. This morning he received a President's Fulfilling the Dream award at the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Freedom Breakfast, sponsored by the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government, the Clarke County School District, and the University of Georgia.

Narke is the assistant director of recruitment & diversity initiatives at the UGA Graduate School. He earned his MEd from the Institute in 2019 and is pursuing a PhD in student affairs administration at the Mary Frances Early College of Education.

In his remarks, he challenged everyone to dream a bigger dream and create a reality in which all people can live fully and freely without fear.
